"WYSIWYG"
What You See Is What You Get

What Is Seen On This Site Is
Truly In The Eye Of The Beholder

The appearence of this site is dependent upon only a few things that are controlled by the author. The known aspects of the site that the author can abolutely control when the site was designed are fairly limited.

Things the author CAN control are:
  • The width of the site. A fixed or variable width.
  • The alignment of the site. Center or left justified.
  • The use of margins, blank lines, and case of text characters, but he can not absolutely control the font types displayed, nor their size, nor their color.
  • The possible control the color of the hypertext links.
  • The presence of "mouseover" bubbles and status bar documentation.
  • The tabular structures of the page, but only partially the presentation of their content.
  • The use of graphics, their size and alignments.
  • The use of background images, but not if they print or not.
  • The control of underlining and fixed colors of links.

Things the author CAN NOT control are:
  • The commercial browser you choose to use, nor its version. Features used by the author that the browser will not process, such as, blinking and marquee.
  • The default mailto: utility that you have defined.
  • Presentation of his pages on "framed" sites of others.
  • The successful uses of sound, JavaScripts and Applets.
  • The appearance of linked sites other than his sites.
  • The presentation of valid sites due to their availability.
  • The distortion resulting from FONT re-sizing you've chosen.

Thus, many "catch 22's" apply. In general, what you see is dependent to a great extent upon your operating system and browser, their settings, and other aspects of your computer that you define. So, "wysiwyg".

The author will take responsibility to the spelling, grammar and syntax errors.

But, you have to take the responsibility to point these errors out to me. How else can I keep Dancin' ? ... Gator
